#teachingavarosetl: (Weather Activity) Rain Clouds

Hello Everybody!! 😊

I have mentioned before, most of these activities were done during the MCO period. School’s still closed and we will still be doing loads of learning at home, so don’t fret.. There will be more activities coming, but I’m currently trying my very best to blog more. (SAHM ain’t that free ok!!) So while AR is fast asleep, I’m trying my very best to update with all the backlogs... Hang tight ok.

So these week you may see loads of Weather activities. Because we learnt about the weather.

Here’s a really simple experiment. And this experiment made me realise how much AR loves loves loves doing these activities.

Things you need:
- A jar / Glass
- Water
- Blue food colouring (Preferably, liquid food coloring)
- Shaving Foam.

Pour in the water into the glass / jar. Please don’t fill it all the way up. Then add a thin layer of shaving foam. I stress on the word thin because when we put a thick layer during the first trial it took forever for the food coloring to appear. And later, add in a few drops of the food coloring and just watch how beautiful rain clouds can be.

I just love her little excited face when she sees the magic happen. πŸ₯°

And she just sat there and watched, asking questions.. And letting it process. She just sat there and admired the beauty of the rain clouds.

Look at that observant little face. *aaah* 😍

Here’s a close up of the beautiful rain.

Who says 4 year olds are too young to understand and make their own science experiments?

Till the next blog post. Stay home, stay safe!

xoxo,
CC.
