#teachingavarosetl: Alphabet Hunt (Part 2)
Hello Lovelies,
It’s been a loooonnggg while. I don’t know why I can no longer post my blog posts via laptop / computer. So I had to download an app to continue posting via blogger. 😑 (on another side note, Dayre is back! So I do post there constantly.)
Anyways, Covid-19 has forced Malaysia to be on a Movement Control. We’re not on a lockdown.. However the government has advised us to stay indoors. It’s safer anyways. Of course, schools and offices are closed. So you maybe seeing more of our #teachingavarosetl activities.
Today, we’re doing the Alphabet hunt again. (Previous Alphabet Hunt can be seen *here*) I did this again because I know she was learning her alphabets in school and wanted to see if she could remember them.
Things you need:
- Sensory Bin (If you don’t have a bin you can opt for a tray like my previous one.)
- Wooden Alphabets
- Colored Rice (You can use normal grained rice too or any other beans)
- Sensory Tools
- Pom Pom Balls

It’s simple honestly, just throw them all into the bin, mix it all up. Look at the colours!
I asked AR to use the sensory tool to pick whatever alphabet she sees.
She picks one up and tells me what it is, what colour it is.. And then puts it in the right compartment.
It’s simple as that! And she spent at least an hour playing and learning at the same time. ❤️ I hope this is able to help any of you who are on lockdown or home bound or quarantined with little ones at home.
Till the next blog post. (Tomorrow I hope) Stay Safe everyone!
