#teachingavarosetl: Do You Like Ice Cream?

Hello Daddies & Mommies, 

First of all, I want to give a special shoutout to Suzanne. Thank you for the gift you gave to AR. As you can see, we are making full use of it! AR got a box of ice cream making play dough from Suzanne last month for her birthday. Unfortunately, this little lady boss of mine does not really like the "feeling" of play dough. Don't ask me why, she gets all grossed up. (BUT THAT BEING SAID, SHE WAS FINE WITH THE OTHER PLAYDOUGH SET HER "DADDY 2" GAVE... SO NOT SURE IF SHE IS OCD OR JUST PLAIN DRAMA. )

Anyways, to replace the playdough we made MOON SAND / CLOUD DOUGH.

It's really easy to make! You just need FLOUR, BABY OIL and if you really want it to sparkle.. GLITTER. 

Here are the Ice Cream tools we used. Together with the Moon Sand / Cloud Dough.

Put it in front of your LO and let them play on their own. AR started scooping away. Then she would pretend to eat them. She'd scoop me just a tiny spoon and say "Mama kenot eat, too sweet and cold." Haha!

My mistake was letting her play with this indoors. Or then again I should have laid newspaper on the floor to pick up the mess.

AR had so much fun with this scooping up the ice cream, playing with the Moon Sand / Cloud Dough. Exploring and playing at the same time.

Love seeing her little fingers at work. Embraced the mess, she eventually helped me vacuum up the little mess that she made. So was a win win situation. Seeing her have fun and learning through play and seeing her clean the mess she made.
