#teachingavarosetl: Messy Play (Hunt for fruits & vegetables)

Hello Daddies & Mommies,

I really enjoy watching AR play, make a mess and learn from it. Here's one activity that involves recycling and mess! I know most of us parents are often too sceptical to let our kids make a mess, in our heads we think of the mess and the thought of cleaning up after is so hard to handle.. Trust me, it's fun and a learning experience for your little one.

AR for example. After she is done playing, she helps to clean up the mess. I allow her to make a mess, but I also teach her to pick up after herself. To clean up the mess. It's up to us as parents to raise our little one right. So why not do it the fun way?

Things you need:
- Shredded Paper. (A big shoutout to thank my aunts and friend for passing me all the shredded paper)
- Play balls
- Toy Foods / Fruits / Vegetables

AR refused to get in at first. It took a lot of coaxing. Thank goodness her cousins were over and they went in the pool without hesitation.

Who knew, this was also fun for the older kids.

After seeing her cousins have so much fun, she eventually went in and started creating a mess. Throwing the shredded paper up in the air, pretending it was snow.

She ended up sitting in the pool on her own making a mess. Having fun and really enjoying herself. Well, the Fruit and Vegetable hunt ended up... a clear mess. But it was so much fun!! Learn through play!!
